I swear, the dream I had yesterday felt so real it struck me hard when I awoke to reality. I even dazed for a few seconds thinking, "It was a dream? But it felt so real. :(" I remember what the dream is about till now. I felt so happy in the dream but so sad in reality. Why so sad in reality? Because it was only a dream I can wish for. All I can say is, please let it happen to me. Then I would stop fretting over it.
Some people have the luck, some people don't.
Some people are blessed, some are not. ____________________________________________________________________________________
Across the roads,
into the ocean.
I glance across,
it's a wide horizon.
The different shades of blue,
look all so beautiful.
How alluring,
if life is as beautiful.

Holland Village is a nice place to chill out during a weekend. Went there for lunch with my 2 sisters today and spent a whole afternoon there. All I can say is that I felt like a pig with them during the whole afternoon where we ate from almost stop to stop. I do love eating but today was really a eat-along-the-way kind of thing. Firstly, we went to Crystal Jade for a little dim sum to satisfy my second sister's craving which she have had for weeks. So we ordered a basket of Char Siew Bun, Siew Mai, a kind of tofu and prawn dumpling (har gao). After satisfying my second sis's cravings, we headed to Hog's Breath Cafe (HBC) for a proper lunch meal. One of my sis had a UOB card 1-for-1 offer for HBC. So we ordered two sets of prime ribs (different flavors). Each set was pricey (approx. $32.50 - $35/36 ), but for 1-for-1, it was worth it. The mashed potato was yummy and the salad was fresh. I liked the salad sauce a lot. The prime ribs were also good.
Their plan was to head to Essential Brew next for tea-infused drinks and to play a card game my eldest sis brought along. But after the filling lunch, we first went to Chip Bee Garden across the road to walk along the stretch of shops to allow the food to digest. I ended up getting a sinful chocolate muffin from a bakery cum dessert shop, which looked extremely yummy. The cakes and other kinds of dessert were generally expensive but the muffin was alright. Hence we bought it to try. It was indeed very good!
We then headed to the Holland V shopping centre above the Cold Storage to walk around. Eldest sis bought a headband. Second sis and I didn't manage to get anything. I saw a very nice skirt from this Angie's Handmade Shop which cost $32.50. :( It looked really pretty.
Next, we headed to Essential Brew for the drinks and card game. Also ordered an apple crumble with green tea ice-cream. Nice! Enough of eating? Nope. At the end of the game session, my 2 sisters got greedy and were deciding between xiao long bao from Crystal Jade or Katong laksa at one of the coffeeshops. They decided on Katong laksa. Followed them to satisfy their cravings. Just had one mouth of the laksa as I was already feeling very full.
After the whole afternoon of eating and chilling out, we all went home.
Holland V has so many places to eat at!
Will be watching Spiderman 3 with them on coming Wednesday. Can't wait to catch it.
Another week of work! >.<
